Donut Bank Bakery & Coffee Shops ranked among the selections featured in a recent Saveur Magazine review. The editors sampled nearly 100 kinds of doughnuts from across the U.S. and selected the top twelve to feature in the article, titled A Dozen Choice Doughnut Spots, which appeared on the magazine's website. The author, Rachel Kalt, attributed the Donut Bank's success, in part, to the fact that Joe, Ben, and Chris Kempf come from a long line of bakers who take doughnut making very seriously. Earning special mention in the review were two of Donut Bank's perennial favorites, chocolate iced long johns and their famous honey-dipped glazed doughnut.
