In 1967, we developed our own exclusive donut recipe for yeast-raised donuts. We used only the freshest, most wholesome natural ingredients such as enriched flour, pure vegetable shortening, sugar, eggs, and fresh yeast. After mixing everything together, the dough was allowed to set for an hour, after which it was cut into loaves. We cut the loaves into donuts, “proofed” the donuts, and then fried in cholesterol-free shortening. The result? Donuts so mouth-watering good they quickly became the talk of the town!
Today, much has changed, but not our commitment to quality ingredients and to the best darned donuts anywhere! It still takes 3 hours for us to make a single batch of yeast donuts; a time-consuming process, to be sure, but the smiles on our customers’ faces make it all worthwhile. We know they wouldn't have it any other way.
All this because of a single purpose: to provide our customers the very finest bakery products we are capable of making.
